Cool Thing

When Alice and I went to the Donny Smith show, we spent some time at the Biker Elements booth talking with the owners. Alice found the boots she wanted there and we both purchased t-shirts. During our conversation, he started looking for a “gremlin” bell to give me for my bike. I think it had something to do with the fact that I was on crutches with a broken foot after falling off my bike and we were talking about our 50-state ride we are going to do. I think he thought I could probably use one, ya think?

Well, after we got home, Alice ordered her new boots online and received them. Today in the mail, she received two “Hot Bells.” We were really touched that he followed up and sent not only the gremlin he was looking for, for me, but one for Alice as well. So cool. On the card with the bell is the following: “As you ride down the road, evil spirits will attach to your bike, so you need a Hot Bells to force them away! These are nasty creatures who die when they hear these bells ring. Plus, Hot Bell has double the power when received as a gift! Attach it to your bike and feel safe knowing that it will protect you from mechanical problems, road-obstacles & bad luck!” “Believe in the power!!!” I have another bell a friend gave me years ago and recently gave Alice her first bell. Now we just have to figure out where they can hang out on our bikes.
