Cheap Thrills

I suppose not many know that I have been working on this project for over a decade. Nor does anyone need to really, however part of my research has included testing products over the years that I could depend on over the road for certain needs. Like for instance, with the thought of packing minimal with little to no waste. I chose to go with bar soaps for hair and body. For many reasons.
This was quite the task seeing how I have such sensitive skin, and apparently hair. A lot of trial and error. The majority were super hard on my hair. Skin didn’t care for some, but that was much easier to figure out than the hair bar soap. Part of my process was testing how long the bars will last for cost, and when I will need restock supply.
I found a brand that I swear by, and will be what I use on the road. So, check that off the list.
Now, I am currently working on a few options to heat up cocoa on the road for my morning routine. Seeing how coffee is no longer one of my dietary options, by my choice of course, for health reasons. Anyway, point is…. Today, I was let down by another product. I suppose am not surprised, but I was giving benefit of the doubt per usual, and once again. Lesson presented, and I still yet to learn. If it looks cheap, and looks like you could wire and build it better yourself, it’s probably nothing more than a cheap thrill. Well it was super fun for that few times it worked, like a charm, made the best smooth perfectly heated cocoa, then of course, after a FEW uses, washes, rinses, she pooped out. Another product trashed and it’s back to the drawing board.
